Ken-foundationHumanism and Social AwarenessOur goal is to help communities become more aware of the social issues regarding environmental sustainability, well being of women, youth and drugs, Medical awareness etc.

Be the change you wish to see. Because all change begins with an individual.

Too often in life, we wait around for someone else to instigate the changes we want to see. We doubt our own ability and become paralyzed to action, thinking either we are not solely capable of bringing the changes about, or that someone else will get around to it.

But this inability to act alone is all in our head. Because history bears witness that the most extraordinary things were done by the most ordinary people.

And this individual action is certainly the need of the hour for India – the land of great contrasts! While the country has 50+ billionaires, it also has 17 million child labourers. While it has a galloping GDP growth, it also has 2 million children dying before their first birthday due to the lack of immunizations and medical facilities!

So if you’ve ever wished to be able to do something for the greater good, the time could not be more right. Remember! You don’t have to make radical changes for your efforts to count, because the small changes make a big difference!

Ken Foundation’s   core mission is to restructure gender relations toward a humane, equitable and gender-just society.
Visionwe believe our fundamental challenge is to create a “just” society - one where everyone has equal opportunity to develop & grow.

What we do

we promote awareness programs for the community by conducting various workshops, seminars, events and conferences.
ProgramsAs part of our initiatives ken Foundation has conceptualised the following programs and been implementing in different areas across India.
Public AwarenessKen Foundation takes up active role in conducting awareness campaigns and seminars to educate Public on the current challenges affecting Society.

So why we need to be aware, because information about society and its issues make us more responsible for the society. For example, if more young guys are taught about the adverse effects of global warming, they will surely keep an eye in fuel saving. If they are taught about social issues and problems, they will make an effort to do something about it, therefore improving society as a whole.
There are a lot of social problems like female infanticide, alcoholism, drug abuse, global warming, etc. which are still huge problems around us. It is essential that more and more people be made aware of these issues so that we can fight them as a united country. Social awareness also makes the individual more mature and thoughtful when it comes to making important decisions for them or society.
